The most popular new wave party in the area of Antwerp. Nearly 30 years ago we hosted the legendary plaza, the biggest new wave club in Antwerp. After that we resided in alternative clubs as The Face, Hippo and Kafé Marqué and now we are running the popular monthly marquee club @ Noorderterras, before @ pier 19.
For old times sake, we organize our yearly 'Back to the age of New Wave Party'. Traditionally, there will be a great atmosphere in an airconditioned venue, filled with beautiful people from all ages.
It's our intention to play the greatest new wave classics from The Cure, Siouxsie and Sisters, the best post punk from Wire and Joy Division, the coolest new romantic from John Foxx, Ultravox or Visage, the most exciting electro wave from Depeche Mode, Fad Gadget and early Human League / Simple Minds, the coldest cold wave from Killing Joke or Virgin Prunes and of course some ebm, neue Deutsche welle and krautrock. Feel free to ask for your requests, there's no limit !
