The most popular new wave party in the area of Antwerp. More than 30 years ago we hosted the legendary Plaza, the biggest new wave club in Antwerp. After that we resided in alternative clubs as The Face, Hippo and Kafé Marqué and now we are running the popular marquee club parties @ Aalmoezenier formerly @ Pier 19 & Noorderterras. For old times sake, we organize our 'back to the age of New Wave Party'. It's our intention to play the greatest new wave classics from The Cure, Siouxsie, Cabaret Voltaire and Sisters, the best post punk from Wire to Joy Division, the coolest new romantic from John Foxx, Ultravox or Visage, the most exciting electro wave from Depeche Mode, Fad Gadget and early Human League / Simple Minds, the coldest cold wave from Killing Joke to Virgin Prunes and of course some early electronics, Ebm, neue Deutsche welle and krautrock. Feel free to ask for your requests, there's no limit ! The party starts at 10 pm. Be on time !
