Branvers started out as the music project of the musicians / producers Jan Belin and Ludwig Goedhuys. Time invested in the recording studio, drawing on their diverse musical influences, has culminated in some original sounding and beautifully crafted tracks. The First ep which includes four songs is already available; and the full album, which is currently being mixed, is expected to be released in spring .
By working together with musicians of different musical backgrounds, Branvers style has become an infectious mix of pop, rock, funk and jazz. Recent addition Patsy Blackstone, whose solid experience as a rock and blues singer can be clearly heard on the studio recordings, also gives the band a powerful live sound. Dsir Som, bass player, guitarist and native of Burkina Faso, brings in that funky African vibe.
