Open Sounds is a project developed by voice-movement practitioners Morena Brindisi and Claudio Girard. It is born out of their desire to share their research with other artists interested in Voice and Movement practices.

The proposed work will be informed by elements of Bartenieff Fundamentals, Bmc, Dalcroze's Eurhythmics, Laban Analysis, Feldenkrais and Voice Movement Integration.

This will allow a technical and expressive path between voice, movement, space, music and improvisation to emerge.

Each of the six workshops will be focusing on different aspects of voice and movement interaction, following an approach of progressive discovery and exploration.

The workshop is open to dancers/physical performers as well as actors, singers and musicians with good movement skills.

The workshops will be taught in English and French.

Due to the specific nature of the work, it is advised to participate in all six workshops. However, if needed, it is possible to attend only one or more sessions.
