Tim Mulleman, Piano
Tim Mulleman (°1993, Belgium) studied piano in Vienna at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien with Christiane Karajeva and at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Jan Michiels, where his final Master’s recital and research thesis – specialising in transcription and improvisation – gave him a greatest distinction. In the Conservatory awarded him the Patrimonium Prize 'Maurice Lefranc'.
As a composer, Tim currently writes for Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen. His arrangements, broadcasted by Npo4 (Netherlands), Bbc3 (UK), Klara and Musiq3 (Belgium), are performed throughout Europe and commissioned by soloists, ensembles and orchestras.
In chamber music formation, Tim has been broadcasted on Npo4, Klara, Musiq3, Radio d Bbc3. He regularly performs with pianist Hiu-Man Chan. As Pianoduo Mimese they were granted twice a summa cum laude for their postgraduate recitals in and . In they became finalists of Klara's Supernova chamber music competition. They performed in a packed Bozar and opened the Festival of Flanders in .
