Samba, Bossa and more with Samy Tabita from Rio de Janeiro !

Samy is a ear-old Brazilian singer who moved to Belgium in . She was born in Rio in a musical family, niece of the famous Brazilian composer of “samba enredo” Carlos Caetano. Like so many good singers, she started to sing in church and later joined the well-known bossa choir (coro de câmara) of the Instituta Villa-Lobos. After her move to Belgium she decided to surround herself with jazz musicians to promote Brazilian music. The music she plays is firmly rooted in bossa and samba, but it is also open to other influences like RnB, funk, soul. It is a music equally nice for those who like to listen and those who like to dance...
