The Pearl Harts were born out of love and a desire to make hi-octane rock n' roll when they first burst onto the scene with a stunningly filmed live video, ‘Black Blood’ immediately picking up fans from Xfm, Clash, and Bbc Introducing.

Quickly making a name for themselves with their wild attitude, Diy spirit and incredible live shows, The Pearl Harts were soon showcasing their magic on stages all over the uk and Europe - with support from Garbage's Shirley Manson who described them as “badass girls, with all the right stuff"
The Pearl Harts raw energy and intense delivery has won them fans across the uk and Europe and seen them opening for the likes of Skunk Anansie and Garbage, with less than a handful of singles under their belt.

The bands’ first full-length lp ‘Glitter and Spit’ was released in March through their own label Double Bang Records following a successful crowd funding campaign and the assistance of Help Musicians ‘Do It Differently Fund.’ Picking up rave reviews both on music blogs and in the music press their debut album ‘Glitter and Spit’ has been described as ‘full of attitude, charisma and confidence - it takes the listener on an adrenaline-charged ride.’ It saw the band interviewed and played on Bbc 6Music, play-listed and live in session with Radio X and music videos shown on Scuzz tv and Kerrang ! A series of well-attended and sold out shows across the uk followed.

In the band released the killer singles 'Different Kinda Girl' 'Suck It Up' and 'Pullin' My Brains Out' - produced by Thomas Mitchener, (Frank Carter, Asylums) receiving the support of Bbc Radio 1 and 6Music and playlisted on Spotify's 'Hot New Bands' Playlist – they found themselves debuting in the us showcasing for the Steve Lamacq curated Bbc 6Music Show at Sxsw .

Over the remainder of the band played shows across the uk and Europe with The Kills, Refused, Counterfeit, Frank Carter as well as headlining clubs, playing festivals and building a young and excited fanbase.

In September the band had their tune 'Black Blood' used on the new series of Peaky Blinders and collaborated with fashion brand Mulberry providing concept and music for their social media ad 'Different Kinda Girl'

Jan saw the band retreat to start writing. As with most artists, the pandemic proved to be a difficult time - so used to sweaty loud shows, The Pearl Harts couldn’t quite get their heads around performing in their bedrooms with a zoom camera - feeling like their magic would be lost somehow. Instead they pulled out the stops to curate their own socially-distanced drive-in show in the depths of an industrial yard in deepest Bermondsey. The show brought together a small audience and was in collaboration with vc London - the Uk’s only all-womxn biker crew. The band also live streamed to over 500 fans in their fan app.

During the pandemic The Pearl Harts also spent the time honing their production/writing skills - the result - a 1ack album entitled ‘Love, Chaos', recorded between lockdowns with engineer Tobin Jones at The Park Studios, co-produced with Danio (Kari Faux, Willow Kayne) mixed by Mat Buck and mastered by John Webber (Anna Meredith, Coach Party) ‘Love, Chaos’ is “a musical journey about saying goodbye to unhealthy patterns that exist in our lives…. “Love Chaos” is about realising and accepting this and forging a life beyond - as women, particularly in rock music, we have had to fight and unpick a load of history and patterns to accept ourselves as we are today. Shake off the “good girls” we have brought up to be - but not to become “bad” to be our real, true and authentic selves – to embrace the chaos”

They release the first single ‘More’ In October before unleashing the full lp in early , again through their own label Double Bang Records”

“These girls have a serious ear for dynamic riffs and gigantic tunes…. Their track ‘Black Blood’ adds some call-and response blues to a metallic Rage Against The Machine style funk riff…” – Nme magazine
“The Pearl Harts – London warrior princesses – their seismic brand of heavy blues channels Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and trailblazing use of loops and samples…. Early interviews have evoked…. The unguarded lip of Courtney love” – TeamRock
“Shrouded in darkness, The Pearl Harts have a visceral quality which is difficult to deny.” – Clash Music
