Roni Ben Hur is a guitarist from New York who has a vast reputation both in Jazz and Bossa Nova, playing with musicians such as Victor Lewis, Harvey S., George Cables, and accompanying the singer Sheila Jordan. In Bossa Nova he recorded with bass player Nilson Mata and accompanied singer Lenie Andrade.
As a band leader, he recorded a dozen albums featuring the best musicians from New York the capital of Jazz.
The first part of this concert we will listen to the lyrical guitar of Roni Ben Hur accompanied by the double bass of Rui Salgado. Together they will interpret the sweetest bossa nova melodies of great composers such as Tom Jobim.
Then Paola Marques, Colombian singer living in Belgium, will join them with her graceful and warm voice to interpret bossa nova themes from her own repertoire.
Portuguese bass player Rui Salgado will accompany the two musicians in a sweet Bossa Nova night that will set the tone for summer times.
