Prepare to experience a concert overflowing with emotion and authenticity, where chamamé will resonate with every chord and verse. Argentine accordionist Pablo Bentos, guitarist Sergio Cabrera, and Dutch singer-songwriter Nino Zannoni invite you on an intimate and profound journey, opening the doors to their world and essence. In Seis por Ocho, you’ll feel their unbreakable connection to the rich culture of chamamé: their passion for improvisation, the love and poetry that flow like the Paraná River, the respect for nature, and the human values that root and give life to each melody and verse, whether sung or instrumental. This concert will not just be a performance; it will be a meeting of souls, a space to feel and live chamamé in all its magnitude.
The trio Seis por Ocho was born in March 2023, when they were invited for a tour in Brazil that took them to various stages in Santa Catarina. A year later, in March 2024, they presented their concert “Seis por Ocho por el Viejo Mundo,” captivating audiences in Portugal, France, and the Netherlands. In late August 2024, they released their first album, “Seis por Ocho,” a concert that brings together both original songs—instrumental and sung—and those melodies that spontaneously emerged from their musical collaboration. The trio’s quest intertwines the universal with the rooted, the contemporary with tradition, building a musical bridge that honors the past while exploring new paths. In a world where essence and exploration are vital to keeping folklore alive and renewed, Seis por Ocho presents itself as a passionate and committed project, breathing authenticity and sensitivity into every chord.
