Boro: Mending and Remaking

This workshop is mending or customization of your clothes (jeans, trousers, skirt, dress, shirt, t-shirts, coat, scarf, a bag, a cover, a cushion.... etc) with Sashiko. You can represent your world on your items as a designer or an artist by Japanese traditional pattern or your own pattern. Enjoy your creation and savour the moment with Japanese tea from Kyoto!

Sashiko is one of the traditional Japanese needlework. To help you enjoy the time spent stitching, make a pin cushion—the essential tool for resting your needles.
