Little blind Fool

Robin Amora is an artist/figurative sculptor currently living in the outskirts of Austin, Texas. Using paper as her primary sculpting medium, she continues to build on what has become a fascinating and truly unique body of work. With an outside-the-box upbringing, no formal art training and a hard-wired addiction to creative expression, she has developed her own methods through years of non-stop, obsessive experimentation. Drawn from life experience, including caring for her dying mother who had undergone brain surgery and suffered a sever stroke, Amora's work touches on mental health, perception, our existence and mortality and the continual thread that trails its way through the spaces in between.
